Destinations Bridal Fair at Jardin De Miramar

It's been 2 years since I got married and I miss the days of planning. One thing that I enjoyed the most was going to different bridal fairs. I remember attending bridal caravan in Singapore (I'm based in Singapore during that time) and bridal fair in Manila. I booked my cake, invitation and my wedding gown there. There are benefits of attending the bridal fair like meeting the best suppliers, getting more discounts and freebies.

Last Saturday, I had a chance to attend the Destinations Bridal fair at Jardin De Miramar in Antipolo City, Rizal. It's a two-day weekend event (Feb 4 -5, 2017). It was held at their newest venue, the Isla Palma, an open air pavilion which can accommodate up to 300 pax of capacity. Good quality wedding suppliers were gathered together offering their services, great deals and discounts! You can take advantage of this and get the best deals out there. Suppliers' includes food caterer (that offers on the spot food tasting), photo and video coverage, invitation cards, bridal hair and make-up, lights and sounds, wedding and entourage gowns, live bands and more. I enjoyed checking out each supplier's work and portfolio and i feel that I want to get married again :)

I have also explored the different venues of Jardin De Miramar. My favorite part was their Ylang Ylang a filipiana-inspired venue in a mini forest setting. It is perfect for rustic and backyard themed reception that can accommodate up to 200 pax for your reception and programs. Alongside, there is a flat-type garden that you can rent if you want to have a christian wedding ceremony at the same time. In that area, I can feel the fresh and cold air that are coming from the nature that surrounds the venue. You can also do your pre-wedding photoshoot inside the compound of Jardin, if you book them for your event. They have huge parking space located at the compound with guards roving around so you don't have to worry about security of the vehicles of your guests.

I'm sharing here the photo highlights of the bridal fair event and some beautiful photos of the venue. Check it out below. Enjoy!

Our Wedding SDE by Bliss and Berries

This is my favorite part, the review! During my preps day, Reviews from other brides helped me a lot in choosing our suppliers. So now, It's my turn to share :D

Nowadays, Getting a same day edit (SDE) video is a must and there are lots of photo and video suppliers around. You can get a package together with wedding photos or a separate "video only" suppliers. It will depend on your taste and budget. For us we get the package from Bliss and Berries, A sister company of Blacktieproject. Photo and Video is one of the major and important supplier in a wedding event. They will capture everything from the preparation up to the last part of the reception program.

I'm happy that we booked Bliss and Berries as our official photographer and videographer. They are fun to work with. They arrived very early in the hotel (great!) to capture every details.Their camera gadgets are high ends and I envy them, haha because I used to shoot on events few years back. I don't know why but during the preparation I'm stressed, there are lots of people in my room, don't know how can i attend to their needs. My coordinators are not yet around. I need to tell a lot of things to them but they are late, I texted my groom and asked him to call them (oops another story). I remember one of the photographers keeps telling me to smile and he said "mam, parang lalim ng iniisip mo, enjoy lang po :)" Back to the topic, I enjoyed the shoot even if I'm stressed. but I think if im not? nag fashion show at bonggang bonggang pose ako sa kanila yung magsasawa  na sila at sasabihin "mam, tama na po! wag kayong feeling! haha!" at dapat wag pa apekto sa stress (kung kaya, kayanin!). To our future brides, Kung meron nakakainis na pangyayari on the day, deadmahin! Enjoy lang dahil once lang hindi na pwedeng ulitin yung moment na yun. nagsisi ako kase nagpa apekto ako e. ulitin ang kasal. lol

I also enjoyed our "before the dress" shoot. arte artehan galore! haha! Thanks to Toni Aviles for making me the most beautiful girl that time, pang pageant! Later ang bonggang review, pasasalamat at papuri ko sayo :D

Anyway,  I want to share with you the Same Day Edit (SDE) that they did. For us, It was fabulous and perfect! We love it to the moon and back. Thank you so much Bliss and Berries team for your talent and creative mind. My relatives and friends loves it too. We received a lot of good feedback about the video.

Hope my readers (if meron, please comment. choz!) will love it too. Enjoy watching!

Lights and Sounds by RejectKrew

We booked our lights and sounds last December. Thanks to GT thread and some bloggers for recommending RejectKrew! Super in demand nila. Magaling at maganda ang setup ng RejectKrew, affordable with high quality gadgets based on the reviews and  photos that i saw online.  I really like his set up on mood lights, very creative! So I searched their contact information and email Mr.Elmer (owner of RejectKrew) to inquire for their rates and thank God it's under our budget range. You can contact Elmer via email too but please be patient  because it will take time for him to reply due to his hectic schedule. After weeks of communication, Finally we booked them and Elmer sent us the contract. Yey!
